The Battle for Kisumu

This weekend will see the biggest entertainment battle in Kisumu as Safaricom and OneVibe entertainment go head to head as they compete for Kisumu’s revelers.

Safaicom will be hosting the Niko na Safaricom Concert at Kisumu showground on 6th Oct 2012 while OneVibe enteertainment will be having their annual Unite the people concert at Kisumu’s central square. Both teams have lined up Kenya’s top entertainers who will be performing backed up by live bands but OneVibe Entertainment have gone a notch higher by bringing in a Jamaican artist Clinton Fearon.

Other artists such as Kisumu’s Nebulazz now riding high with the song Tuition Teacher will be one of the big winners as he will be performing at both shows.

Tonight OneVibe entertainment will be hosting an exclusive dinner at Sunset hotel with live performances by Clinton Fearon, D.N.A, Shamir, Nahna, Nebulazz, Dj Edo Gee, MC Davy Ranks, and Kisumu’s Best Afro-fussion band Sol Afrique. Sound powered by House of Funk.

My verdict: Safaricom show will flop based on the poor selection of venue. If you are planing on partying this weekend think in terms of Uniting the world. OneVibe Entertainment will win this hands down.
