LG Electronics has announced an expansion of its cloud gaming services, which will be available to LG TV users on models released in 2023.
The firm is expanding its cloud gaming services, including 4K support for NVIDIA GeForce NOW in more than 80 countries and the debut of the popular Boosteroid service in more than 60 countries.
This is in addition to the additions of Blacknut and Utomik in 2022. Dong Won Lee, Managing Director of LG Electronics EA, stated that this is part of LG’s commitment to providing a diverse range of gaming services through its developing webOS ecosystem.
These services will be available to LG TV owners via the Game Quick Card on webOS 2023. Kenyan gamers will be able to access services such as GeForce NOW, Utomik, Blacknut, and the recently launched Boosteroid, as well as Twitch and YouTube directly from the home page of their LG TV.
With four million global users and 18 server sites worldwide, Boosteroid is the world’s largest independent cloud gaming provider.
LG’s OLED TVs have 0.1 milliseconds (grey-to-grey) response time and low input lag, resulting in ultra-smooth gameplay.
Users of 2023 LG TVs may experience GeForce NOW gaming at 4K 60fps with no additional downloads, installation, or hardware required. Blockbuster titles from NVIDIA’s service, such as Cyberpunk 2077, No Man’s Sky, and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, become even more realistic and lively when seen in 4K quality on LG’s premium TVs.
With the Game Optimizer and various customizing tools and game-genre-specific picture settings, LG’s premium TVs can give a more personalized gaming experience.
