TECNO begins pre-orders for PHANTOM V-FOLD, Its First-Ever Foldable Smartphone in Kenya

TECNO has announced its entry into the foldable smartphone market with the PHANTOM V Fold, the first of its kind for the brand.

This device is part of the Phantom X2 series launched in January 2023 and will be available for pre-order between 3rd April – 17th April 2023, with customers paying an upfront fee of Kshs. 5,000 and the balance on collection.

The PHANTOM V-FOLD offers innovative features, including a storage capacity of 12GB RAM and 512GB ROM and a 0.11mm screen crease that makes the screen smoother and more user-friendly when unfolded.

Ray Fang, Country Manager, expressed TECNO’s excitement about bringing such innovation to Kenya and looks forward to hearing customer reviews on the PHANTOM V-FOLD.

He said that TECNO’s debut emphasizes that they are truly BEYOND EXTRAORDINARY.

TECNO recently showcased its smartphone series, including PHANTOM, CAMON, Spark, POP, and its latest AIoT product ecosystem covering smart individual, smart business, and smart home at the Mobile World Congress, a four-day event that brings together the latest innovations in the tech industry.

TECNO’s PHANTOM V-FOLD was globally launched at the event, establishing TECNO as a new and rising driving force in the smartphone and AIoT industry.

Later this month, the PHANTOM V-FOLD will be unveiled in Kenya, providing an affordable foldable device to the market.
