Veteran Benga Maestro Dan Aceda who also goes by the monicker “The Crown Prince of Benga” has cancelled his much-hyped OCTOBENGA concert that was to be hosted at The Alchemist.

This was going to be Aceda’s first concert since the Covid-19 pandemic slowed things down. Tickets to the event were retailing at Ksh. 1,500.

The Alchemist found themselves on the bad side of publicity after a video emerged on social media of patrons being forced to queue according to race. In the now-viral videos, whites and Asians had a queue that was separate from that of blacks.
