You have probably seen an advert on Citizen TV saying that they are employing up to 15 sales people per County and asking their viewers to apply for the 8 months contract job. What the ad does not say is that you are required to make a Ksh. 1,000 payment while applying.
Going through the application procedure explained in the ad, a screen comes showing that you will be required to make the Ksh. 1,000 payment. The big question is, why would an organization of Royal Media’s caliber be charging for job applications?
The ad says they are hiring degree and diploma holders, so many of them are currently unemployed and they are likely to get responses in terms of tens of thousands just to offer a few hundred positions for an eight month commission based job?
This is a grand money making scheme for the media outlet that should be stopped with immediate effect.
