Being Luo is expensive but one Daggy Owilla (Migosi 001) an aspirant for the Migosi ward in the 2017 election took it a notch higher when he threw a three-day birthday party for his son Ryan who was turning one over the weekend. The party which began on Friday evening was attended by Governors, local politicians and who is who in Kisumu.

The main event was on Saturday which saw the birthday boy treated to a party at a hotel in Kisumu’s Milimani Estate complete with traditional dancers and a high profile guest list (if you were not on the guest list like me then you seriously need to think about your life) and bodyguards for the birthday boy!

Sources close to the family puts the expenditure of the three day event at somewhere above half a million bob even though we cannot independently verify the figures.

Here are a couple of photos from the event (Photos Courtesy):

Well, that was literally taking birthday parties to the next level…let’s see who will outdo Daggy (as I wait for Nadia to turn one)….

Happy Birthday Ryan from Ominde’s World.
