BeCa a two girls’ group consisting of Becky Sangolo and Caroline Kamweru have just released their debut single and video titled “Toka.”

‘Toka’ is an assertive song dedicated to the men who have a habit of cheating on their ladies and once caught they go down on their knees begging for forgiveness.

The song depicts the typical relationship lifestyles in our today’s society and ladies are tired of the ill treatment from the men and BeCa have decided it’s time the men ‘Toka’.

‘Toka’ is a dance hall tune produced by the renowned producer Jacky B and the video shot by the creative director, Sync.

Before launching their music career the two ladies who met at Sauti Akademi -Penya Africa in 2015 were a popular backup vocal duo and have performed at events such as Morgan Heritage extravaganza, SportPesa Festival and Nairobi fashion market to mention but a few.

Verdict: The song has catchy lyrics and great beats and in a way reminds you of other popular “male-bashing” numbers like “Liar” by Wahu or “To the left” by Beyonce both of which were very popular songs with girls. This jam has all the ingredients needed for a hit song and it’s just a matter of time before it starts ruling the airwaves.
