If you operate a business within or close to the CBD then this might come as some good news for you. City Wifi just went live in Kisumu and you could get unlimited internet for your office or home for only Ksh. 70 a day.

To access the internet service just switch on your WiFi and connect to City Wifi which will soon redirect you to a page where you can buy any one of their affordable data bundles.

Other areas other than the CBD that are covered by their WiFi network include  Hudma Center, Kenyatta Sports Grounds, Kisumu Bus Park, City Hall, County Assembly of Kisumu, Catholic University, United Mall, KCB Roundabout,  Jua Kali, Varsity Plaza, Kisumu Social Center, Dubai Complex _ Nyamasaria, Kosawo Hall -Manyatta, Tom Mboya College, Kisumu Poly and Directorate Of Education – Milimani.

This becomes the third public WiFi in Kisumu after Sumo Net and Mabeshte boayth operating on similar modules but with a shorter radius.

Try it today and leave a comment with your feelings about it.
