BAKE to hold a free bloggers’ training in Kisumu

The Bloggers Association of Kenya (BAKE) – an organization that promotes creation of online content in the country will on Saturday 23rd August 2014 hold their first ever training for bloggers, aspiring bloggers and social media enthusiasts in Kisumu.

The function which will be held at Kisumu’s Tripple Trojan Hotel in Milimani will see training conducted from the basics of how to create a blog, how to generate content, how to improve page views and how to make money from blogging and social media among other topics.

The training will be FREE for all who are interested and meals will also be provided by the event organizers. The organizers hope that with the training they will be able to build a vibrant community of online content creators in Kisumu, empower young people on how to make money and strengthen BAKE – Kisumu Chapter.

The Bloggers Association of Kenya is also looking forward to opening new chapters in Western Kenya especially at institutions of higher learning.

The training will be conducted by some of BAKE’s most experienced bloggers and directors as well as experienced bloggers from BAKE-Kisumu Chapter.
