Kisumu’s Hip Hop guru Lafam Dawg is to battle it out tonight at Club Psys Langata in the Nokia Don’t Break the Beat cypher competition. In an earlier event held in Kisumu, Lafam floored tens of artists to emerge victorious alongside Warlord another Kisumu artist.
Being one of the pioneer hip hop artists in Kisumu at a very tender age alongside the likes of Ngiri 40 aka Dave Ngiri, 4G Mafia, Kabili Clan, Lafam is still holding it down and even supporting upcoming artist through forums such as Hip Hop night which he co-host with Lorah Jean-Louis of lohkali entertainment.
Lafam has also been nominated in 3 cartegories in the upcoming Vybez Awards namely: Best Hip Hop artist, Best song – Knock Knock and Best Video – Turn it up. To vote for Lafam in Vybes awards check out his codes in the previous post on this blog.
