Genge rapper Hubert Nakitare commonly known to his fans as Nonini is now a radio presenter with One fm. Nonini debuted on air today presenting the breakfast show alongside Marcus Olang’.
This is not Nonini’s first stint on radio, in 2005 he was part of the star studded Y fm team (now Hot 96) where he hosted the Breakfast show (Ngware) alongside Dama and Bryo.
Nonini replaces Tina Kagia who now moves to hosting the late night show in the same station (somewhat a demotion going by the ratings of both shows).
Other local celebrities and musicians hosting radio shows include: Mwafrika of Ghetto Radio (also fomerly of Y fm), Sheila Mwanyigah aka Nikki of Y fm, Debbie Asila of Kiss among others.
