A year ago they caused ripples when they were ranked the best school in Swahili nationally and this year they did it even in a much bigger scale! Maranda High school which was recently upgraded to a National school has stunned many top school by flooring giants to emerge the top school nationally in the 2011 K.C.S.E.
According to very reliable sources at the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) and Ministry of Education, Maranda High School has is the best school in last year’s exams beating top contenders Alliance High School and Starehe Boys Centre.
Kanga High School from Migori County is another high school from Nyanza Province which has also emerged in the top 10 cartegory nationally. The results are expected to be officially released tomorrow but y’all know where you heard it first!!
